Monroe & Washington (NH #39, #40)

#39 & 40 - Hut #2

Booked a stay at the Lake of The Clouds Hut on the shoulder of Mount Washington.  Had a nice drive up, which included a so-so breakfast at some local mom & pop in Concord.  Not sure what's up with me and mom & pop joints in NH, but this time...instead of a lousy steak, I get a waiter who gives me 2$ short of my change.  Since the service was "OK", I decided to still give him the 'standard' 15%. Jack-Rabbit!

Anyways...on to the hike.  Once we got on to route 3, we encountered a series of road runners.
